Kwentong C.I. Video Contest: Soak in Christ!

The Division on Ministries with Young People (Philippines) in partnership with the National United Methodist Youth Fellowship in the Philippines, present to you the very first Kwentong C.I. Video Contest.

This contest is open to all UMYF in the Philippines. Simple lang ang rules.

Attend! Mag-attend ka ng Christmas Institute sa inyong District or Annual Conference. Pwedeng isang tao lang ang sumali. Pwede ring isang buong grupo. O isang buong district. Basta dapat puro UMYF lang ang sasali.

Capture your experience. Kuha ka ng maraming pictures. Saka maraming videos. Dapat maipakita mo kung paano kang na-Soak in Christ! Pwedeng Reality TV ang dating. (parang Big Brother, o Survivor Philippines, o pwede ring The Biggest Loser ang dating). Pwedeng documentary. Pwede rin naming pang-short film ang dating ng video mo. Pero please lang, bawal ang slideshow ng mga pictures habang may tumutugtog na Praise and Worship song. Pwedeng madrama, pwedeng makulet! Ang mahalaga, maipakita ang experience mo sa C.I.

Edit and prepare your video. I-edit mo na rin ng kaunti. Kung may Movie Maker ka, pwede na yun. Pero kung kaya mo, gamit ka ng kung anong video editing software na gusto mo.

Submit. Kelangan mong mag-fill up ng Submission Form, at dapat may pirma ng iyong Pastor, just to ensure na ikaw ay UMYF talaga. Pagkatapos, i-upload mo sa YouTube ang video at i-email ang submission form sa mrasing@gbod.org (i-cc na rin ang mightyrasing@gmail.com)

Prizes. Siempre, ang mga mananalong videos ay magkakaroon ng prize!

1st – P5,000
2nd – P3,000
3rd – P2,000
People’s Choice – P1,500

Content/Story 60%
Editing & Cinematography 20%
Creativity & Originality 20%
Total 100%

Deadline of submission of entries: January 20, 2012
Winners will be announced on January 31, 2012. Awarding will be at the 2nd National UMYF Council Meeting.
