The emergence of the Internet is one of the most amazing things that happened in the twentieth century. It revolutionized the way we handle and access information.

Simply put, the Internet is a network of networks, a massive interconnection of computers all over the world. It is different from the World Wide Web, which is a wide collection of interconnected documents, hypertext and hyperlinks. The Web is but one of the communication services being provided in the Internet.

Greenhills Christian Fellowship will hold the a conference on Celebrate Family: The Challenge of the Family in the 21st Century on June 27, 2009, 9am to 4:30pm at the GCF Ministry Center, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.

I was invited to be one of the speakers there on the topic “Internet: Friend or Foe.” There will be two sessions of my presentation. One from 1:00-2:30 and another from 3:00-4:30. I will talk about the boon and the bane of the Internet for teenagers, internet addiction, the Word of God and the Internet and how teens can avoid the pitfalls of using the Internet. Christian group Katinas will be in the Philippines on November 30, 2008 for a concert. Katinas is known for Praise and Worship hits such as Draw Me Close and their version of Thank You and Lord I Give You My Heart.

Good music with a positive message! That’s what The EDGE Radio is all about!

Back in College, I enjoyed listening to NU 107.5’s Against the Flow. They featured my favorite Contemporary Christian songs from dcTalk, jarsofclay, sixpencenonethericher and Third Day among others. I was hoping for a radio station that could play my kind of music round the clock.

When 91.5 Energy FM first aired in Manila, they featured The EDGE Radio every night. Imagine, I could listen to Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) all through the night? They ran from 6pm to 6am.
